Chapel Hill InnTown Utilities
For stays of 2 months or greater, you get a greatly reduced monthly rate, however you have to add utility costs to your rent. Even with utilities added, the net monthly cost is less than the daily rate (which includes utilities). The utilities stay in our name so you don't have to worry about establishing service or making deposits. We simply bill you the following costs:
Water: flat rate of $50/month
Satellite TV service, including HBO: $50/month
Local Phone Service: $40/month
Electricity: actual amount used (*)+ 10%
Natural Gas: actual amount used (*) + 10%
Internet (optional): $50/month
Town and county fees: $8/month
Occupancy tax must be added if your stay is less than 90 days
* Electric and gas usage are strictly dependent on your energy conservation techniques, how much laundry you do, how long your showers are, etc. Since the apartment is air conditioned in the summer and uses gas heat in the winter, for most people the combined electric and gas bill will be around $50-$60 during the spring and fall, and around $100-$110 in the hot and cold months of summer and winter. The actual usage may be higher or lower, but this is a rough estimate.
