2 Bedroom Unfurnished Apartments at
University Gardens Condominiums
These spacious condominiums are within easy walking distance of the UNC campus. They are also on the "N" and "A" bus lines for those rainy days. We rent to a mixture of students, married couples, families, and professionals. We also have a few retired residents.
The apartments are very large, containing approximately 1,000 sq. ft. Don't you hate apartments with no closet space? Well, these units contain 4-5 large closets! Some units have bookshelves. All units are air conditioned, and there is a pool on the premises. All appliances included except dishwasher. Pets are negotiable, depending on your references. Some units have hardwood floors, others have carpetting. The apartments are located right next door to an extensive network of town-maintained nature and hiking trails, and a nice city park, playground, and tennis courts are adjacent to the complex. The apartments are all-electric. Most tenants feel that the utilities they pay (water and electric) are quite reasonable. We also enforce our noise policy in order to assure residents of peaceful surroundings.

Many people ask what differentiates the Garden Style and the Townhouse Style. The Garden Style condos are on one floor (rather than 2 levels). The condos are built on a moderately steep slope, so you walk down a set of stairs to go in the front door, but the back door is at ground level. There are window wells around the front windows to let in light. The back doors and rear windows open onto a small back yard, where you have a view of a wooded area. The townhouses have their front door at ground level, so they do have a bit more natural light than the garden style. The townhouses have both bedrooms and full bath upstairs. The living room, kitchen, and half-bath are downstairs. The townhouses have a deck off the kitchen back door, and they also have bookshelves at the top of the stairs. The actual square footage of both apartments is identical. The bedrooms, full bathroom, and living room are exactly the same size. The garden style has a huge kitchen which makes up for the space lost by not having the 1/2 bath (which the townhouses have). The townhouse kitchen is not tiny, but it isn't enormous like the garden style.
